Canada’s overall economic prosperity. This is particularly important as 71% of
small business owners will retire within 10 years, with 41% retiring within the

The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) - for entrepreneurs only - is a dynamic,
global network of more than 7,300 business owners in 42 countries. Founded in
1987 by a group of young entrepreneurs, EO is the catalyst that enables
entrepreneurs to learn and grow from each other, leading to greater business
success and an enriched personal life.

The Entrepreneurship Centre is an initiative of OCRI, dedicated to helping
Ottawa entrepreneurs make informed decisions about starting and growing their
businesses. The Centre aims to promote Ottawa's economy, through the development
of products and services that encourage entrepreneurship and support business

Entrepreneurship Week Canada
Entrepreneurship Week Canada is aligned with Global Entrepreneurship Week (unleashingideas.org)
taking place November 17-23, 2008. Global Entrepreneurship Week is a worldwide
effort to bring together like-minded people across the world to celebrate and
promote the spirit of entrepreneurship to youth. It is an idea that spawned from
Enterprise Week UK, which first began in 2004. Last year, Global
Entrepreneurship Week engaged over 2,720 partner organizations and more than
900,000 individuals. In 2008, 56 countries will join together to form this
global movement.

Impact Entrepreneurship Group
The Impact Entrepreneurship Group is Canada's largest non-profit, student-run
organization dedicated to encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit amongst youth
in Canada and becoming a starting point and catalyst for youth interested in
entrepreneurship and leadership. Since 2004, Impact has developed programs both
at the national and local level and in the last year alone, we reached over half
a million young people. Consisting of over 100 student volunteers nationwide,
Impact is dedicated to driving the entrepreneurial spirit.

The Norman Newman Centre for Entrepreneurship's mandate is to promote
entrepreneurship in its many forms, through innovative curriculum, applied
research and collaborative extension work (outreach). Our definition of
entrepreneurship is broad and includes the development or growth of enterprises
for profit, for social benefit and for sustainability.

As a not-for-profit organization, YES Montreal (Youth Employment Services)
enriches the community by providing English-language support services to help
Quebecers find employment and start businesses.
